Sheila Rich’s flair for optimal space planning and true appreciation of gracious style are beautifully reflected in the timeless interiors she creates. For over 30 years, Sheila has worked with commercial and residential clients to ensure that every detail of their home or office elegantly expresses and supports their individual lifestyle, tastes, and needs.

Sheila is a New Jersey Certified Interior Designer, has earned the CAPS (Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist) designation, and is affiliated with both the International Interior Design Association and the American Society of Interior Designers. She is a graduate of Hunter College and has successfully completed design courses at the prestigious Parsons School of Design, American Institute of Kitchen and Bath Dealers, Brookdale College, and The New School.

Sheila Rich is honored to be the recipient of the Chrysalis Award as well as 27 Design Excellence Awards from ASID, and the Best of Houzz for both design and service for ten consecutive years (see below).  Her long-running newspaper column, “Rich Ideas”, informed on trends and helped homeowners solve design challenges.  Sheila is proud to serve on the Houzz Pro Advisory Board, where she and other select designers will continue to help shape the Houzz platform.

Sheila has appeared on television, and her projects are featured in books and in many print publications.  As a featured guest speaker, Sheila’s popular presentations on a wide range of design topics are well received by audiences.
